Popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's tragic demise has left everyone heartbroken and numb. On May 29, Sidhu was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, a day after the Punjab Police withdrew his security. Reportedly, more than 30 rounds of bullets were fired on the car Sidhu was driving. On Tuesday, Moose Wala was cremated at his native village Moosa in Punjab's Mansa district amid chants of 'Satnam Waheguru'.
Reportedly, the Punjabi singer’s body was carried in his favourite ‘HMT 591’ tractor for his final rites. It is being said that Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh requested for his son’s body to be cremated at the agricultural plot that the singer had bought. His parents broke down in tears during their son’s last rites. Several photos and videos from his final rites have surfaced online and it is heartbreaking to see the condition of Sidhu's parents.
The body of Sidhu Moosewala was handed over to his family on Tuesday following an autopsy conducted by a panel of five doctors at the Mansa Civil Hospital. The post-mortem report revealed that around two dozen entry and exit bullet wounds were found on Sidhu Moose Wala's body, including one in the skull. The autopsy report also stated that Moose Wala's body’s right elbow was broken due to bullet injuries. He sustained maximum bullets on his chest and abdomen while two bullets were found on his right leg.
