Model-actress Sherlyn Chopra is the latest celebrity to share her views on Shraddha Walker’s murder case and urged Rajasthan CM to not ‘give clean chit’ to accused Aftab Poonawala. The actress also slammed CM Ashok Gehlot over his ‘accident, not murder’ comment while talking to the media. For the unversed, Ashok Gehlot had said, “There is an incident. The incident is an accident. It is not a new thing. For centuries, marriages have been taking place in the name of inter-caste, inter-religion, it is not a new thing.”
His statement did not go down well with Sherlyn as she lashed out at him in public asking Ashok Gehlot whether he would have made the same comment if the girl's name was Shabnam instead of Shraddha?'. The actress, while speaking to media and reporters, also mentioned that Shraddha had suffered a terrible injustice. “The barbarism with which Aftab Poonawala has killed her is less to be condemned,” Chopra added. As per the latest update on Shraddha’s murder case, Aaftab Poonawala appeared before the Delhi court yesterday and told he killed his girlfriend in the “heat of the moment.” The court has ordered to keep him in police custody for questioning for another four days. Some bones were also found inside the pond at Mehrauli.”
