Vin Diesel, known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, faces allegations of sexual battery by his former assistant, Astra Jonasson, dating back to 2010. In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, Jonasson claims Diesel subjected her to unwanted advances, alleging that he coerced her in a hotel suite in Atlanta. According to the lawsuit, she attempted to leave the room after being forced onto his bed, but he pursued her, groping her breasts and kissing her chest. He allegedly escalated the situation by trying to remove her underwear, causing her to scream and flee toward the nearby bathroom. It's further claimed that he coerced her into touching his erect penis and proceeded to masturbate.
In the aftermath of the incident, Jonasson, fearing further repercussions from Diesel, closed her eyes, hoping the assault would cease. Hours following the assault, she was dismissed by his sister, Samantha Vincent, who also serves as the president of his production company, One Race Productions. According to the lawsuit, she felt devalued and her self-worth shattered, describing herself as feeling like "a piece of trash." She believed her termination was a consequence of resisting the actor's advances and viewed herself as no longer useful to him after declining his sexual assaults.
