Kannada Actress Swathi Sathish is the latest victim of a botched medical procedure gone wrong. In a shocking turn of events, Swathi, who hails from Bengaluru, faced severe pain and swollen face after she got her root canal surgery done. It’s been three weeks since she underwent the surgery but her condition is reportedly getting worsened. The FIR actress looked shocking and unrecognisable in the photos that have gone viral after her botched root canal surgery.
As per reports, Swathi’s medical procedure took place at the private hospital Oryx Dental Multispecialty. Doctors told her that her swelling on the face will go away in a few days but she claimed that her symptoms are not improving. Swathi alleged that she was given salicylic acid instead of anaesthesia. She also mentioned that the doctors did not give her the proper and accurate information about the treatment. Swathi Sathish is currently recovering at home. The hospital and doctors are yet to react to her claims. Swathi’s photos with a swollen face have taken the internet by storm and have left everyone shocked and worried.
Last month, a 22-year-old Kannada television actress Chethana Raj passed away after her botched fat removal surgery in Bengaluru. She developed complications as fluid accumulated in her lungs after a fat removal surgery. In fact, many celebrities including Rakhi Sawant were deeply shocked by her sudden death due to plastic surgery and questioned the hospital and doctors involved in the surgery procedure. In their complaint, Chethana’s parents lodged an FIR accusing the doctors and hospital of negligence which caused their daughter’s death.
