Bhojpuri Singer Shilpi Raj has been in the headlines for controversial reasons. For the uninitiated, a few weeks ago, Shilpi's MMS was leaked online and it was shared on many platforms. It went viral on the internet and many trolled her for the same. Reportedly, Shilpa was seen in an objectionable position with her boyfriend. However, she later denied that she's the girl in the video.

After the MMS, another video was doing rounds on the internet. She was asked about the viral video. When asked 'why did she put out a video wherein she's crying that 'aisa nahin karna chahiye etc?'', Shilpi said that the video where she's crying is one year old.

Speaking to ETimes, Shilpi said, "That video where I am crying is 1-year-old. It was related to something else. This too I don't know how that crying video started doing the rounds just when the MMS attributed to me got leaked." Talking about the MMS, Shilpi said, "I haven't seen the MMS. I was told that it was attributed to my name. I wonder who the girl in the MMS is. The girl in the video is not me. Ye saari koi saazish hai mujhe badnaam karne ki."

When she was asked if she has any idea who is behind this, she said, "No, I cannot fathom that. Industry mein jab koi badhta hai toh log galat-shalat bolte rehte hai. Mahila ki koi izzat nahi." The singer also revealed that she has filed a case in Court.

Talking about her parents' reaction, she shared, "My brother was concerned and he called me. But I explained things to him."

Shilpi is currently concentrating on her work.
