After being locked in their houses for so many months, due to COVID-19, the who’s who of the entertainment industry has dashed off to the Maldives for a luxurious and quick getaway. Celebs like Taapsee Pannu with sister and boyfriend, Sonakshi Sinha, Tara Sutaria with boyfriend Adar Jain, Rakul Preet Singh with family, Armaan Jain with wife Anissa Malhotra and among others kept giving their fans a sneak-peek into their Maldivian vacay. Well, the latest actress to land at Beach Island is South Sensation Samantha Akkineni.
Samantha is no less than a social media star and her recent clicks from her latest vacay will give you major travel goals. Samantha along with husband Naga Chaitanya dashed off to the Maldives to ring in the latter's birthday together. Sam and Naga are slaying at the island and their pictures are straight from paradise. In between her vacay with her husband, Sam stole some self-pampering time. A while back, Samantha took to social media and shared a picture of her soaking in a bathtub, captioning which she wrote, “Ended up being just me.”
Earlier, filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi took a jibe at celebs for their recent getaways. Re-tweeting Barkha Dutt’s tweet, Nikhil said celebs are self-absorbed and oblivious. He tweeted, “Absolutely. Then we r surprised at the suddenness of the backlash the movie industry receives for unrelated reasons. We r so self-absorbed &so oblivious to what's around us that we appear unempathetic. Let me also assure it's not like they r heartless, none are.. just plain stupid.”
