Viral Internet sensation Ranu Mondal has come a long way, from singing on railway stations to now lending her voice for several Bollywood songs. Recently, Himesh Reshammiya released the song Aashiqui Mein Teri 2.0 in which he collaborated with Ranu. With growing fame, also comes the increasing scrutiny and online trolling. Just recently, Ranu Mondal's pictures  sporting heavy, overdone makeup surfaced on social media and she was mercilessly trolled for the same.  Now, fans have jumped to her defense calling the mockery absolutely unethical and uncalled for.

In the pictures, Ranu Mondal wore a peach lehenga and had a huge amount of foundation used on her face. She was brutally trolled on social media and most of them were rather mean. Now, a section of Twitterati, and Ranu Mondal's fans have come to her rescue and called out the trolls for how cruelly they trolled someone who doesn't know how to handle all this. While one tweet read, "Everyone making fun of #RanuMandal please remember that one can’t change their looks,but you can certainly choose to speak logically & with kindness whilst judging her.Being in the public eye & under a scanner while she herself is a WIP ain’t easy for an adult.
