Two times Wimbledon winner and ace tennis player, Rafael Nadal will soon be exchanging rings with his childhood sweetheart Mery Perello today, on October 19, 2019, at La Fortaleza in Majorca, Spain. The two have been dating each other for 14 years and got engaged last year in May in Rome, however, now the duo has decided to take the plunge and is set to exchange their vows in front of 350 guests which include family and friends. As the duo is going to marry at Spain’s most expensive property, we are here to take you on a magical tour of their wedding location.
Since it's not possible to go all the way to Spain, we sought the help of Google to bring to a sneak-peek into the lavish wedding hotel and places around the same. La Fortaleza, which overlooks the bay of Pollensa in north-east Majorca, was purchased by Lord Lupton in 2011 for £30million. According to The Sun, the original fort was built in 1628 to defend Majorca against invaders. It is also said that Lord Lupton’s family expanded the estate by building a helipad, two swimming pools and seven villas with 17 en-suite bedrooms.
That's not all. According to Daily Mail, Rafael has also roped in popular Majorcan chef Macarena de Castro, who is in charge of the star-studded crowd at the reception. Seems quite amusing right? Watch the video below:
Maria is an insurance worker and business graduate also serves as a project director for the Rafael Nadal Foundation. Maria and Rafael have always kept their engagement news a bit low profile, however, knowing their nature, we are assuming that these two will also do the same for the marriage. For now, we can’t wait to see pictures flocking our Instagram feed.
