The Ambani family are currently over the moon as they are preparing for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchanct’s upcoming nuptials which will be held on July 12. Ahead of welcoming their youngest daughter-in-law into the family with open arms, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani host two grand pre-wedding celebrations for the happy couple which was attended by well-known personalities from across the world. While photos and videos from the second pre-wedding cruis are still surfacing the internet, a new photoshoot of the couple has gone viral where Radhika is seen flaunting her extravagant engagement ring.
On Tuesday, a jewellery content creator Julia Hackman Chafe took to Instagram to comment on the bride-to-be’s unique engagement ring, which she wore on her left hand’s fourth finger. The creator points out that Radhika is seen wearing a blue diamond engagement ring which has two heart-shaped diamonds surrounding the centerpeirce. She went on to disclose that the blue diamonds on the ring, are some of the rarest gemstones in the world. It is to be noted that before Merchant, Priyanka Chopra was seen wearing Bulgari Laguna blue diamond necklace during her appearance at Met Gala 2023. Chafe went on to ask her followers what the price of the expensive ring must be as it’s exact price is not know. The content creator shared the video with the caption, “Is #RadhikaMerchant’s Engagement Ring $25 Million? 💍.” Taking to the comment section of the video, netizens shared their thought on the extravagant Amabni wedding as well as their guess on how much Radhika’s engagement ring costs. One wrote, “I think Ambani's should buy Kohinoor...that's how we get our diamond back.” Another wrote, “25 million seems reasonable.. they r worth billions.” Other one said, “Looks like 7-8 carat. Fancy Intense Blue. Talking about their upcoming nuptials, the childhood sweethearts, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have known each other for a long time. Radhika is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. They hosted their first pre-wedding celebration In March 2024 to introduce their wildlife center Vantara to the guests. This was followed by a cruise outing in May with the theme ‘La Vita E Un Viaggio’. According to the reports by Bollywood Shaadis, the ship costs around USD 900 million (approximately Rs 7,500 crore).
According to Anant and Radhika’s ‘save the date’ invitation, they will be tying the knot on July 12. The wedding will be taking place at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
