A video of King Charles III resurfaced on the internet and it has ultimately ignited a debate on social media highlighting the issues regarding the Monarch and the media.
King Charles III, who became the new king of the United Kingdom (UK), can be seen shaking hands with the mourners who came to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away early last week.
However, in a particular incident, while the King shook everyone’s hand that came his way, he seemingly snubbed an adult black guy of African heritage waiting in the crowd, which provoked conflicting emotions among Kenyans and other Africans.

Netizens have alleged that the Monarch ignored the handshake from the Africans before shaking all the other white hands.
The latest media reports suggest that all other African presidents travelled to the funeral on the same bus, while US President Joe Biden arrived with his entire presidential escort.
Ahmed Asmali, a social media personality, took to Twitter and alleged that "From their leaders being forced into buses to not being greeted."
Obakeng Ramabodu, another Twitter user, posted the viral video on his feed. Interestingly, the latest viral video has received a rave response and it has garnered over 40 lakh views and more than 1 lakh likes since it was posted.
Meanwhile, more than 30,000 users commented, and many criticised the King for his discriminatory action, while others uploaded a video that contradicted the viral video allegedly making claims of racism.
Even the last few seconds of the video, in which King greets a black individual, was reposted by one user.
