Pulwama Terror Attack: Narendra Modi, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Amitabh Bachchan Pay Homage To The Martyrs

On February 14, 2019, while the World was celebrating love on Valentine’s Day, some were spreading hatred in Pulwama. Terrorist attacks at Pulwama left many soldiers martyred. It's been a year since the horrific Pulwama attack shook the nation from the core. The attack claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF Jawans in a suicide bomber attack. Last year, Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tiger Shroff and others gave paid an ode to the martyrs of Pulwama by giving a tribute through a song called Tu Desh Mera. Today, it marks a year and on that note, we saw a few celebs paying their homage to the martyrs. Stars like Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Amitabh Bachchan and Indian Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi remembered the lost souls who passed awy in the Pulwama attack in 2019. 

While taking it to his Twitter handle, Akshay tweeted, “On the day of love, remembering those who showed a greater love for their country...our #BharatKeVeer. Your sacrifice will always be remembered. My salute to the martyrs of #PulwamaAttack  We did not forget, we did not forgive.” While Modi’s tweet read, “Tributes to the brave martyrs who lost their lives in the gruesome Pulwama attack last year. They were exceptional individuals who devoted their lives to serving and protecting our nation. India will never forget their martyrdom.”

Amitabh Bachchan along with Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan even visited the families of Pulwama Attack martyrs and tweeted, “On this day we remember them that sacrificed their lives so we could live…” Check out more tweets below:


Pulwama terror attack is one of the deadliest attacks and the disturbing chapter is still fresh in our minds.
