Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced stepping down as senior royals of the Royal Family in January, this year, which left the world in shock. Later, the couple fulfilled their duties in the next few months and eventually moved to the US with their son Baby Archie. With the US Presidential elections 2020 to be held soon, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle urged voters to vote wisely in speech against US president Donald Trump Reportedly, the couple has violated their exit deal with the Royal family which has irked the family.
According to a report in Page Six, the couple broke their agreement which they made while leaving, with the Royal family. After the speech in the recent Time 100 special, as per the report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have ‘violated’ their deal to leave the royal family. The report mentioned that the violation is also, “prompting talks about whether to strip the couple of their titles.”
Meanwhile, a report in The Sunday Times stated that when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move where they urged American voters to ‘reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity’ in ‘the most important election of our lifetime,’ left the Royals annoyed. The report quoted a Royal aide who said, “The [royal] family are all wringing their hands, thinking: where is this going and does this abide by the deal to uphold the values of the Queen? The feeling is it’s a violation of the agreement.” On the other hand, the source in the report revealed that the Royal family was embarrassed by the couple’s comments, and mentioned that it is seen as a dig at US President Donald Trump.
