Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been residing in California since they stepped down from their royal duties in early 2020. As per latest reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter Lilibet, who was born in 2021, is still not included in the royal line of succession. The little one's name was not added to the list as per the official royal website, Page Six has said.
Though the royal family in the past have added their children and grandchildren names to the list in a week or two after their birth, Lilibet who was born in June 2021, is still not on the list, the report adds. The royal family has chosen to remain silent about it. Lilibet is the eighth child on the list when it comes to the throne - which currently belongs to her great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Meanwhile, while the royal family did not comment on it, ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship expressed his views on it.
During the royal Rota podcast, he said, “You have got to ask what has taken them so long. All they have got to do is hit the paragraph button and put in a different number. They must have done it before. They did it for Archie. Clearly they did it for Louis when he was born. And they have done it for some of the other children like August that have been born as well.”
