Former Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently beaming with joy and happiness as they recently welcomed a baby girl who they named, Lilibet Diana. Amidst the happiness, here comes another one. According to a report published in The Daily Mail, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been invited to Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations aka the 70th anniversary of her time on the throne, next year. Furthermore, the couple is reportedly planning to attend Trooping the Colour, the Queen’s official birthday parade.

Apart from the parade, there will be other events that will be held between June 2 to June 5, 2022. Meghan and Harry couldn’t mark their presence at the parade this year as they welcomed their second baby but it is expected they will attend next year. The Royal family has a tradition that the members of the family make an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during major events and Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations are treated no different. However, the couple would be an appearance on the balcony with the rest of the family members is still unknown.

“The balcony moment will be decided much nearer the time but there's a limit to how many family members should be on it, and I would have thought that working Royals who contribute to the family would be higher on the list than the Sussexes,” a source told the publication. Meanwhile, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Markle revealed that Queen Elizabeth ‘has always been wonderful to her.’

She said, “I mean, we had one of our first joint engagements together. She asked me to join her, and I went on the train. And we had breakfast together that morning and she gave me a beautiful gift and I just really loved being in her company.” ALSO READ: Meghan Markle And Baby Lilibet Diana Won’t Join Prince Harry In England Next Month To Honour Princess Diana On Her Birthday-REPORT
