Prince Harry and his wife, actress Meghan Markle made headlines recently after their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple made some shocking revelations about the British Royal family and its members which create quite a furore for some days on the internet. Earlier, it was reported that Harry and Meghan have signed some projects after stepping down from their roles as the senior members of the Royal family. Finally! The couple has made an announcement. Meghan and Harry’s first project will focus on one of their most passionate causes.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they will be producing a docuseries titled ‘Heart of Invictus’ with Netflix. And, Prince Harry will feature in the series. According to a report by People.com, in a statement, Prince Harry said, “Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve.” He added, “This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year."

The Prince continued in his statement, “As Archewell Productions' first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn't be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service." The statement mentioned that the project which is a “multi-episode series will join the competitors as they train, and along the way reveal powerful stories of resilience and hope.” The statement mentioned that the series will also follow the organizers as they work to prepare for the Games.


Meanwhile, the Invictus Games is a Paralympics-style competition for wounded service personnel and veterans. It was founded by Prince Harry in 2014. Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions will be creating the docu-series for Netflix. The series will follow athletes as they train and prep for the Invictus Games happening in 2022 in The Hague, Netherlands.
