Somewhere in March, Prince Charles was tested positive for Coronavirus. The news was confirmed by Clarence House in a statement that read that The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Coronavirus and he had been displaying mild symptoms. However, his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, 72, had tested negative. Prince Charles was in complete self- isolation in Balmoral estate in Scotland and had recovered within a few weeks. But the Prince has not fully regained his a sense of taste and smell after suffering from COVID-19 and he is still recovering from it. This was revealed when Charles was having a conversation with one healthcare worker who was quoted by the portal.

According to BBC reports, he told workers at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital that he experienced one of the telltale COVID symptoms, a loss of smell and taste and is still recovering from it. He was quoted by the portal saying, “He did speak of his personal experience, so first-hand experience for him,” Jeff Mills, a health care assistant from Cheltenham General Hospital who was present there. “He also spoke about his loss of smell and taste and, sort of, still felt he’s still got [those symptoms] now.”

Meanwhile, the famous personalities who have been tested positive and are also recovered were – Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba and Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor. According to the latest numbers, in India, more than 3 lacs from the country’s population are confirmed COVID cases while 194k patients are being recovered from the fatal disease.
