Phase four of the COVID-19 vaccination drive commenced from May 1 onwards. While the country is fighting against the second wave of the Coronavirus, every single day, many citizens above the age of 18 are getting vaccinated. As the country moves a step forward in becoming COVID-19 free, Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan got his vaccine jab on Thursday. The 35-year-old cricketer made a tweet, informing he has received the COVID-19 vaccine shot. The cricketer shared a picture of him while receiving the shot.

On Twitter, Shikhar Dhawan shared a picture and tweeted, “Vaccinated.” He added, “Can’t thank all our frontline warriors enough for their sacrifices and dedication.” The cricketer thanked all the frontline workers for their sacrifices and dedication. Dhawan continued, “Please do not hesitate and get yourself vaccinated as soon as possible. It’ll help us all defeat this virus.” The cricketer tried his best to spread awareness amongst people about the vaccination. As Shikhar Dhawan is followed by many on social media and has a massive fan base on the platform, the cricketer urged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible. He advised them to not hesitate as getting jabbed will help the country defeat the virus.
