Pakistani TikTok Star Faces Wrath Of Netizens For Posing Against The Backdrop Of Forest Fire, Netizens Call It A ‘Criminal Behavior’

A Pakistani social media star, Humaira Asghar, who has more than 11 million followers on TikTok, is quite popular on social media. She keeps her loyal fans and followers all hooked and entertained with her amazing and oh-so-hot photos. However, Humaira has miffed several netizens with her latest video as she is being slammed on social media for posing against the backdrop of fire. The Tik Tok star is facing huge criticism after a video of her walking in front of a burning hillside went viral.

Humaira shared the video where she donned a silver ball gown and was seen posing by a forest on fire for her TikTok video. Alongside it, she wrote, “Fire erupts wherever I am.” Soon after the video went viral, netizens started trolling Asghar saying the government should take stern action against her. Sharing the clip, one irate user tweeted, “This is a criminal behavior!!” Another said, “One can at least block her on social media platforms, if the authorities don’t do anything.”

A third reacted, “This tiktoker from Pakistan has set fire to the forest for 15 sec video. Government should make sure that culprits are punished and the tiktoker along with the brand should be penalised..”

Following the severe backlash, Humaira Asghar deleted the video and issued a statement. Her team released a statement where they clarified that Humaira did not start the fire and there was “no harm in making videos.” One of the users called Humaira Asghar's post ‘disturbing and disastrous trend on Tik Tok.

Reacting to this, the Environmental activist and chairperson of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board Rina Saeed Khan Satti stated, “She should have been hilding a bucket of water to extinguish the fire instead of glamorising it.” In another follow-up tweet, Khan said, “This is a disturning &disastrous trend on TikTok! Young people desperate 4 followers are setting fire to our forests during this hot & dry season! In Australia, it is life imprisonment for those who start wildfires. We need to introduce similar legislation @WildlifeBoard.”
