Singing reality show ‘Pakistan Idol’ is one of the most loved and popular talent shows in Pakistan for obvious reasons. Created by Simon Fuller, the reality show is a part of the Idols franchise and was judged by Hadiqa Kiani, Bushra Ansari, and Ali Azmat. In a recent interview, veteran actor and singer Bushra opened up about her reality show and made some shocking revelations. Bushra exposed the reality after she was asked if 'Pakistan Idol' was scripted. She revealed that she was shown the videos of Indian Idol judges, especially Sunidhi Chauhan to copy them.
During her appearance on Tabish Hashmi’s show, Hasna Mana Hai, the Udaari star stated that although the show “undoubtedly highlighted singing talent, some of it was staged.” Reportedly, Bushra Ansari also revealed that while Ali Azmat played the part well, she had a very compassionate personality and couldn’t be harsh to people or exterminate them. Hadiqa, on the other hand, had a very balanced attitude when it comes to being strict on the show.
Bushra went on to add that she even asked the management to fire her because she could not treat people harshly. The makers also showed her videos of Indian Idol judges talking with contestants so that she could copy their behaviour. Not just that, the actress pointed out that some contestants on Pakistan Idol were just included for a comedy effect.
