Talking about her ensemble for Saturday evening she stunned in a black banarasi saree with jangla design, handcrafted from gold and zari.
According to the Instagram post by Topophilia, the jewel has a height of 13.7 cm and is 19.8 cm wide. Made with gold the kalgi is set with diamonds, rubies, and spinels. As reported by the portal, the piece of jewellery was made using the Pachhikakaam technique, which was adopted by Indian jewellers as they attempted to mimic the European claw setting. Apparently, the jewellery was last seen at the AI Thani Collection before it was divested at auction in 2019.
Talking about Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic won the coveted title. She was crowned by Poland’s Miss World Karolina Bielawska at the grand star-studded finale. Miss Lebonan Yasmina Zaytoun was titled as the first runner-up.
