Being a successful businesswoman, Nita Ambani has garnered a huge fan following that adores and looks up to her. She was recently honoured with the ‘Sports Leader of The Year’ award at the CII Scorecard 2023 event. 

For those who don’t know, not only is she the founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, but she is also a member of the International Olympic Committee. Nita also owns the Mumbai Indians cricket team which plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). After years of her dedicated hard work toward uplifting the status of India in sports, her efforts were recognised by the CII Scorecard 2023 event. Taking to their official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, news agency ANI reported that the business mogul was awarded with the ‘Sports Leader of the Year - Female.’ Her foundation was also awarded with the ‘Best Corporate Promoting Sports in India’ award, during the same event. Having tied the knot with Mukesh Ambani in 1985, despite being one of the most influential couples in India, they have led a very humble life. They are proud parents to three kids Akash, Isha and Anant, who they raised with the same values they grew up with. During their appearance on Simi Garewal's chat show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Nita had spoken about the same. She had said, “He is a very down-to-earth person and he wants his children to become good human beings. Mukesh always wants his children to understand the value of money and he says that money doesn’t grow on trees, rather one has to work hard to earn money.”
