The Coronavirus cases all over Maharashtra are rising by each passing day. The state is among the worst affected one by the second wave of the deadly virus. Keeping in mind the rampant spread of COVID-19, the Maharashtra Government decided to impose several restrictions on citizens. After the announcement of 15-days curfew all over Maharashtra, it was ruled out that vehicles carrying essentials will require stickers. Different colour stickers used for different kinds of essential movement. But does meeting your girlfriend come under essential movement? Mumbai Police doesn't think so.

A netizen named Ashwin Vinod questioned Mumbai Police, "What sticker should I use in order to go out and meet my girlfriend? I miss her”. Little did he know that he would actually receive a response. Mumbai Police reverted saying, "We understand it’s essential for you sir but unfortunately it doesn’t fall under our essentials or emergency categories! Distance makes the heart grow fonder & currently, you healthier,” Mumbai Police wrote in its assuring response." The tweet also had, "We wish you lifetime together. This is just a phase" for the couple. Always bang on, Mumbai Police.

The screenshot of this conversation shared between the netizen and police is going viral on social media with people hailing Mumbai Police's team for being so cool. Take a look at it here.
