Prime Minister Narendra Modi finally launched 5G services in the country over the weekend. The high-speed service will initially be available in select cities. The launch was hosted at Pragati Maidan during the inauguration of the sixth edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC).
The Indian Prime Minister received a hearty welcome from the Chairman of Reliance Jio Telecom, Akash Ambani, and the sight to see was simply unmissable.
In one of the viral videos Mukesh Ambani's elder son, Akash can be seen touching the PM's feet as a gesture of respect for him. Well, the clip went viral in no time and the Chairman of Reliance Jio has won the internet as his gesture was a testament to his upbringing and etiquette.
Well, Akash’s gestures prove Mukesh Ambani and his wife, Nita Ambani have raised their children right. Ultimately, their down-to-earth upbringing brought the Ambani to a high position, and they have been basking in the success of their business.
"He (PM Modi) also spent time understanding the indigenous development of end-to-end 5G technology by a team of young Jio engineers, and how 5G can help bridge the gap between urban and rural healthcare delivery," Jio said in a statement.
Following the inauguration, of the exhibition at Pragati Maidan, PM Modi went around pavilions set up by different telecom operators and technology providers to get a first-hand experience of what 5G can do.
