Since the defeat of the Indian Cricket Team and its ouster from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, there are growing speculations that Indian cricketer and former captain MS Dhoni will be retiring from the team. Post his performance during the World Cup tournament, the buzz around his retirement plans have become only stronger. While all his fans have been making hashtags trend on the social media and pleading Maahi to not retire from cricket, Dhoni’s childhood coach has now revealed details on his retirement.
According to Sports Tak report, Keshav Banerjee, the childhood coach of MS Dhoni disclosed his visit to the house of the batsman this Sunday. During the interview, the coach revealed how Dhoni’s parents want him to retire from the team. He said, “Dhoni’s parents told me that the entire media is saying that he should retire, and we feel they are right. They said we can’t handle this big property anymore.”
On hearing this, Coach Banerjee consoled the parents of the batsman and adviced them to stick along for another year, as they have handled it for so long.
