Noida’s metro appears to have become a new theatre for young artists and social media personalities, assuming you have already seen the viral videos of a woman dressed as Manjulika and characters from Squid Games. Now, in a similar video that has been doing the rounds on social media, a man was seen dressed in the iconic money heist costume.
The internet buzzed with comments about the odd appearance and there were several people who pointed out how out-of-the-box it was.
In the viral video, a man dressed as a character from the Spanish series Money Heist was seen in the Noida metro coach. In the video, the man can be seen carrying two black coloured bags, which he then throws on the floor, just like the character in the series.
A video of the incident has taken the internet by storm and fans couldn’t wait to watch the man first-hand.
However, the people donning the odd costumes weren’t a part of any stunt, play, or fancy dress competition. In fact, the latest report suggests that it was all a part of a well-planned advertisement for boAt. The brand is often known for its quirky campaigns and, without any doubt, its new ad has garnered a lot of attention online.
In a video shared by boAt’s official Twitter account, the characters Manjulika, participant 001 from Squid Game and Money Heist were seen roaming around the compartments as fellow commuters looked on.
After some time, they start listening to music on a boAt speaker and headphones.
“Sound so powerful your favourite characters came to life. Our all-new Stream Edition is what caused the recent #ViralMetroIncident,” the company clarified in the caption.
