Hasin Jahan, the estranged wife of Indian pace bowler, chose her Instagram platform to convey a cryptic message following India's defeat in the 2023 World Cup final against Australia. The audio in her post conveyed the message in Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue: "Akhir main achhe log jaroor jitte hai" (In the end, victory belongs to the good-hearted). As Jahan didn't explicitly explain the context, fans construed it either as a covert reference aimed at Mohammed Shami or as a morale-boosting gesture for the Indian team post their heartbreaking loss.

Interestingly, Shami concluded the 2023 ODI World Cup as India's highest wicket-taker in the tournament and was a standout performer, to say the least. Earlier, when asked about her feelings regarding Shami's record-breaking seven-wicket haul against New Zealand in the semifinals, Hasin Jahan responded, "I don't feel anything special. But it feels good that India has won the semifinal match. I pray that India wins the final as well."
The relationship between Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan ended after she filed a police complaint, alleging the cricketer of adultery and domestic abuse. Subsequently, the Gujarat Titans star faced serious charges including non-bailable accusations of domestic abuse and attempted murder. Hasin also claimed that the star bowler and his family subjected her to torment whenever they visited his hometown in Uttar Pradesh. However, Shami consistently refuted Jahan's accusations, labeling them as a conspiracy aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
