Actor-model Milind Soman is getting brutally trolled on social media, courtesy of his new advertisement. He recently posted a video of him from a new commercial where he was seen promoting a dishwashing liquid made for men. Although the ad aimed to normalize household chores, it offended a certain section of people as they started trolling Milind for endorsing such things on the basis of gender. Milind is facing the wrath of his fans and netizens for collaborating with Vim India for their new dish wash liquid ad.
The official Instagram page of Vim India posted a video of their commercial where a man in the gym brags about helping his mother with dishes. The man said in the video, “Woh thodi thakaan ho gayi thi. Actually, kal raat na maine saare bartaan dhoye the. Mummy ki help kar deta hoon kabhi kabhi aur karni bhi chaiye.” Just then, Milind made a dashing entry, holding utensils, and told him, “Waah beta waah, kya bragging karri hai. Go on, did you enjoy?” He then showed him a bottle of the black dishwashing liquid saying now he can wash all the dishes and keep on bragging. The commercial ended with the 57-year-old actor saying, “Vim Black, easy to clean, more to brag.” ALSO READ: Milind Soman Buys Sea-Facing 4 BHK Apartment In Mumbai's Prabhadevi, Check Out INSIDE PICTURES Of His Luxurious House
Soon after this video hit online, netizens started trolling Soman. One netizen said, “Sir!! It is so disappointing to see you endorse such things. What on earth has a detergent liquid got to do with men doing the bare minimum??? Why is it being labelled or distinguished on the basis of gender? And what is the fucking point of this???? It makes 0 sense!!” Another user pointed out, “Amazed by the thought behind this! But what leaves me in thought is, in this era, where both men and women share their chores, do we need a dishwashing product to a specific gender.”
Meanwhile, Milind Soman is one of the fittest actors in the industry. He is adored for his age-defying looks and for his dedication to fitness. On the work front, he was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Four More Shots Please.’
