Pornhub legend Mia Khalifa was once the most sought-after pornstar in the adult film industry, however many have painted different narratives around her life even after her ouster from the porn industry. Now, Mia has hit back at the people who constantly reduce her to the stereotype of a "raging horny pornstar” in a firey rebuttal.
“People who don’t know anything about me just think that I’m this raging, horny pornstar,” she said, continuing: "So when someone comes up to me and says ‘Oh god, you're my favourite porn star', it's not a compliment, I don’t take it well and that can surprise them."
Despite having worked in the industry for a brief three-month period in 2015, Khalifa's past continues to haunt her. However, despite the shortcomings, the former adult film industry star remains steadfast in her conviction that her stint in the adult film world was the "worst time of her life."
For those unaware, Khalifa began her career in pornography in October 2014, and became the most-watched performer on the adult website Pornhub. She rose to fame and fortune as a social media sensation, following her departure from the adult film industry.
Today, she boasts an immense fan following of millions on multiple platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, and has raked up billions of views. Despite her meteoric rise, Khalifa remains unafraid to express her opinions, even when they may be controversial or polarising. She boldly proclaims that she stands by her beliefs, "for better or worse."
"I feel like I have a responsibility, the things that I post about give me a visceral reaction in my gut,” she explained. “If I have an opinion, I’m going to talk about it."
"Mia you never fail to be more iconic than the next not listening with audio just the energy is too awesome," a comment read.
