The former Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is fighting a case against a few of publication houses as they made certain claims about her. As per the new development, the documents made available in court reveal that Meghan felt unprotected and alone when her privacy was breached while she was pregnant. BBC News has reported that Meghan's friends were very concerned about her welfare as she was prohibited from defending herself.

As reported by BBC.com, the documents said, "The Claimant had become the subject of a large number of false and damaging articles by the UK tabloid media, specifically by the Defendant, which caused tremendous emotional distress and damage to her mental health." Further adding, "As her friends had never seen her in this state before, they were rightly concerned for her welfare, specifically as she was pregnant, unprotected by the Institution, and prohibited from defending herself."

Meghan Markle is said to be suing the newspapers on the basis of misusing private information, breach of data protection and copyright infringement as they had published a part of her handwritten letter addressed to her estranged father Thomas Markle, as reported by The Guardian.

Ever since Meghan and Prince Harry have voluntarily retired from their royal duties, they have been making it to the headlines for various reasons. Prince Harry and Meghan are currently stationed in LA along with their son, after spending a brief time in Canada. However, a report in OK! Magazine also claimed that they are looking for a change of scenery and may move to New York.
