Former couple Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson might possibly get back together as they were recently spotted catching up at the Met Gala 2023, on Monday. Ex-couple’s fans’ hopes have been restored as the pair sent the rumour mill into overdrive as they were spotted looking cosy at Monday night’s Met Gala.   

The former lovers were snapped at the lavish event’s dinner party in New York as they became engrossed in a conversation, albeit in the presence of Usher. The 29-year-old SNL star had his full attention at Kim as she spoke and it seems things weren’t at all awkward for the two exes. 



Meanwhile, several pictures of the former couple have surfaced the social media, sparking rumours of them rekindling their love. 

Kim, and Pete, who split in August 2022 after a nine-month romance, proved that there was no bad blood between them as they chatted with singer Usher, at the exclusive bash inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Currently, Pete is dating Chase Sui Wonders, who shot a warm smile and stared into her eyes during the chat, as a grinning Usher looked on, reported DailyMail. 

Taking to Twitter one user wrote, "Fingers crossed kim and pete hookup tonight." Another suggested: "Maybe Pete and Kim will get back together after this… #MetGala2023," while a third fan seemed certain: "Kim and Pete getting back together."



One fan urged: "Kinda need Pete and Kim back together she peaked w him." Another user pointed out how Kim and Pete were likely comfortable with each other as they ended their relationship on good terms. 

Earlier, the pair had walked the 2022 Met Gala together, and “decided to just be friends” after struggling with their demanding work schedules. 

Another Mirror report suggested that despite their split the former couple have always said they still have "a lot of love and respect for each other". A source close to Kim recently admitted that she is ready to get back into the dating scene. 

"Kim is more open to dating again and putting herself out there," they said.

On Monday night, Kim looked gorgeous as she redefined class while walking the Met Gala red carpet in a stunning pearl outfit which clung perfectly to her hourglass figure. She completed her look with a cream shawl and several pieces of jewellery including a choker necklace which was also made with pearls.
