As per the reports, the Central Reserve Police Force was established in the year 1939 as Crown Representative's police. It was in the year 1949 that the police force became CRPF. The mission of this police force is to help the government to maintain rule of law, public order and internal security, preserve national integrity, promote social harmony and uphold supremacy of the Constitution. It also comes into action during the times of elections and riots. Further, there are four types of security covers that are provided. X, Y, Z and Z-plus are the four types of security covers, and then there is a Special Protection Group which is provided only to the Prime Minister.

As per a report in India Today, an annual budget of Rs 26,000 crore is given to CRPF. While state and union governments pay for the security covers of VIPs, it has not been revealed yet if Kangana is paying for the security provided to her. As per the report, Mukesh Ambani pays Rs 15 Lakh to the Government for the security cover provided to him.
