Bhuban Badyakar needs no introduction now, thanks to his blockbuster and viral song 'Kacha Badam' which made everyone groove on its peppy beats. Be it Bollywood celebrities, TV actors, or influences, Kacha Badam’s fever gripped everyone on social media and it continues to do the same. Bhuban shot to instant fame and become worldwide popular after a video of him singing the song on his motorbike went viral. Post then, there has been no looking back for Bhuban Badyakar as he has many stage performances and music projects in the lineup.
In a recent interview with Etimes, Bhuban has opened up about his sudden fame, car accident, and more. He stated that he is still an average peanut seller from a rural village. He admitted that the money distracted him initially, he bought a dream second-hand car, but then he realized it wasn’t really him. After his accident that took place in February this year, Bhuban Badyakar decided to sell his second-hand car. He mentioned that he has now realized he does not really need a car. “I am not a celebrity. If needed I will again sell peanuts. Believe me I have always tried to stay down to earth. I am not used to handling these starry things and that’s why the celebrity remark was blown out of proportion,” Bhuban Badyakar added. He also revealed that post the huge success of ‘Kacha Badam,’ he got offers to perform in Kerala, Bangladesh, and even in Dubai, but since he has no passport and his wife doesn’t want him travel abroad, he declined them.
In terms of work, the singer has composed two more songs ‘Saregama’ and 'Amar Notun Gari' and both will release soon.
