The Bengali folk song ‘Kacha Badam’ (untoasted peanuts) has created a nationwide madness but it has also reached the distant parts of the world, including South Korea, Tanzania, and Brazil.

While many Insta users across India have performed on the catchy beats of the song, now even celebrities are joining the bandwagon. This tune has also transcended cultures, geographies and languages going global.

Pablo Beck Puhle and his 8-year-old daughter Veronica enjoy a massive Instagram following, all thanks to their amazing dance videos. 

They have once again proved that the language of music is universal, just like their previous dance videos to desi tunes, Pablo and Veronica have now shared a video on the viral Kacha Badam song. The adorable video sees the father-daughter duo nailing the Kacha Badam hook step in a super energetic mood. 


Their latest dance video has earned more than half a million views so far. Based in the city of Caxias do Sul, thousands of miles away from India, it seems Pablo and Veronica have found a loyal fan base here as well.

Speaking of the song, the viral Kacha Badam song has taken over the internet and it has already turned out one of the most trending songs on Instagram reels and many other platforms. The song is the brainchild of a humble peanut seller named Bhuban Badyakar from West Bengal.


Bhuban Badyakar is the peanut seller who sang the song in the viral video. He is a resident of the Dubrajpur block of Kuraljuri village in Lakshminarayanpur Panchayat of West Bengal’s Birbhum district. Bhuban’s family of five includes his wife, two sons and a daughter.
