A group of masked individuals entering the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus in the country’s capital, Delhi and attacking the students and teachers on Sunday, has left everyone in shock. With many pictures and videos surfacing on the internet our Bollywood celebs have come out in support without being unfazed. While we have always seen B-town actress Taapsee Pannu speaking her heart out, this time the Badla star has also joined the bandwagon of the actors and citizens protesting against this newly passed law.
Taking to her Twitter handle she can be seen appealing to her fans to join the protest to be held in Mumbai. Her tweet read, “Today at 8 pm Carter Road, Bandra. Coz with great power comes greater responsibility and I don’t want to shy away from it. #JNU you have our love and support.” But when a Twitter user questioned her about her citizenship, the actress had a befitting reply, just winning our hearts like she always does. User’s tweet read, “R u Indian Taapsee ....” to which she replied, “Ab tumhaare ko bhi paper dikhaane hai kya ?” ALSO READ: JNU Violence:
