TV actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani, who is also a famous Tiktoker with 20.3 million followers on the platform and Instagram following of 16.9 millions has lend her support to the the ban of the entertainment app in the country. 

Govt banned over 59 Chinese apps in the country, which also included TikTok India. Since Jannat is a big name on the platform, we asked her for her reaction on the news and in her reply, Jannat shared a video with us, revealing what she feels about the decision taken by our government last night.  

In the video, Jannat Zubair Rahmani said, "As we all know that our government has banned TikTok and other Chinese applications. I would just like to say that I totally support this ban and boycott the App. Not just me, my entire family also supports it without any doubts as there is nothing more important than our country, people and soldiers.  Aage bhi jo bhi guidelines, rules aur regulations aayenge, vo bhi ham follow karenge with all due respect."



Not just Jannat, but a lot of Television actors and also Bollywood celebs are applauding the decision. On social media too, the issue has found place in various memes, mocking the YouTube Vs TikTok fight. 

The decision to ban the Chinese apps has come in light of the on-going Indo-China tensions at the Ladakh border.
