There are many who are constantly bickering and spreading unnecessary hate on social media, be it anonymously or not, many users spread a lot of venom for each other, thus leading to hatred. Seeing the online community being hurtful to each other, Industrialist Ratan Tata penned down a note on the same. Just sometime back, he shared a note on his Instagram feed where he spoke about online hate and bullying and urges ‘more of sensitivity, kindness and understanding towards each other.’ He also hoped to see that hope it will evolve into a place of empathy and support for everyone rather than spreading hate and bullying towards each other on social media.
His note read, "This year has been full of challenges for everyone, on some level or the other. I see the online community being hurtful to each other, bringing each other down, harshly and with quick judgments. I believe this year especially calls for us to be unified and helpful and is not the time to pull each other down. More of sensitivity towards each other, more of kindness and more of understanding and patience than what one sees today," he said.
"My presence online is limited, but I truly hope it will evolve into a place of empathy and support for everyone, no matter what you cause, rather than hate and bullying," the top businessman further added. Check out his post below:
