Indian cricketer Suresh Raina and his wife Priyanka Raina once again embraced parenthood. The duo welcomed their second kid together, a baby boy, today early morning. Introducing their little one as their daughter Gracia’s little brother, they also revealed his name. Suresh and Priyanka have named him Rio Raina. Just a couple of minutes back the Indian cricketer shared the picture on his Instagram account and followed by congratulatory messages flooding his comment section of this particular post.

The picture has Suresh and Priyanka adorably looking at their little one, beaming with happiness. However, seen missing from the picture is their little daughter Gracia.  Sharing this good news on his Instagram account, he wrote, “The beginning of all things – wonder, hope, possibilities and a better world! We are proud to welcome our son & Gracia’s little brother - Rio Raina. May he flows beyond boundaries, bringing peace, renewal & prosperity to everyone’s life.”  Gracia was born to them in the year 2016.

The news was first broken by former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.


Congratulating the second time parent, he mentioned in his tweet, “Congratulations @ImRaina and Priyanka for the baby boy,” followed by red heart and smiling emoji.


Amidst the tensed situation across the world due to COVID-19, this news of the Indian cricketer, announcing a new addition to his family, came as a relief.

The cricketer had also shared a video on his Instagram account last evening where one could hear temple bells being rung to appreciate the efforts of the doctors and other professionals who are helping us win over the rapidly spreading COVID-19.
