Rishabh Pant took to social media to express his gratitude towards the ‘two heroes’ who helped him reach the hospital safely after his accident

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, recently took to his official social media handles, to share an update on his health and express gratitude towards all his well-wishers, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Jay Shah, honorary secretary of BCCI. In another post he shared a picture of the two heroes that helped him. He shared how he must separately acknowledge their efforts.

Taking to Twitter, Pant expressed how, he may not be able to thank his well-wishers individually, but he must acknowledge the efforts of Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar for helping him during the accident and ensuring her reached hospital safely. He wrote, “I may not have been able to thank everyone individually, but I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and ensured I got to the hospital safely. Rajat Kumar & Nishu Kumar, Thank you. In another tweet, the 25-year-old wicket keeper and batsman informed his followers that his knee surgery was a success. Informing how his road to recovery has begun, he thanked his teammates, doctors and the physios for their kind words and encouragement. He wrote, “I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. For the unversed, right before new year’s Rishabh’s car crashed into a divider and caught on fire when he was returning home. The cricketer sustained injuries on his back, forehead and leg as he had to break the car’s glass to get out. After being admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, he underwent a knee surgery as he suffered from two ligament tears on his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right leg.
