Actress Saba Saudagar, who rose to fame with shows like Gandi Baat and Crackdown, registered her marriage in court with longtime partner Cchintan Shah on Tuesday. The actress is all set to tie the knot with him again in an intimate wedding ceremony in the presence of their family and close friends. Talking to Hindustan Times, she revealed that they will be hosting their wedding in Goa, today i.e May 11th, 2023.

She confirmed the news to the media publication, by expressing how they wanted people who are “genuinely happy for us” to be a part of their special day. Saba even revealed that their wedding invites, made by Shah, state ‘Nothing Fancy, Just Love’. She also spoke about how she is feeling mixed emotions after being officially married to her writer boyfriend. She added, “I didn’t have butterflies before as I knew solemnising this relationship was long due, but, the moment it happened it hit me hard. My life has, maybe, changed forever.”

The actress shared how she realised she took a big decision to tie herself to Cchintan only after they exchanged their vows. For the unversed, the couple have been together for over six years and there have been many instances where they were told that marriage was just a formality. She said, “It’s a lot more. You only realise it the moment it happens. It is a huge step. I still can’t fathom that it happened. Though I’m feeling a little absurd, Cchintan is all cool. Given a choice he would marry me in his shorts and a t-shirt”

While they are currently swamped with wedding preparations, Saba also spoke about her honeymoon plans. Talking to the publication she revealed that they will be going to Europe after they are free from all the customs. Speaking about how she wants to recreate Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge’s iconic scene of Simran running towards Raj, while he is on the train, Saba said, “I’m keen on recreating the train scene in Europe where I’m running towards him to unite with my soul mate.”
