This morning, we woke up to the sad news of former England cricket captain Bob Willis' passing. He was70. The fast bowler breathed his last after a short illness. The former captain has headlined his team between 1982 and 1984 and has played in 90 Test matches. On Wednesday, his family announced the news of his sad demise. Their statement read, “We are heartbroken to lose our beloved Bob, who was an incredible husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He made a huge impact on everybody he knew and we will miss him terribly."
Soon after the news was out, people of the cricket world took to social media to pay their condolences. Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath, “Such sad news.
