Ace actor and film producer Upasana Singh on Thursday approached a court against Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu and accused her of not honouring an agreement she signed for the promotion of the upcoming Punjabi film. 

Singh filed a civil suit in the Chandigarh district court, seeking damages for the alleged breach of contract by Sandhu, who played the lead in her film 'Bai ji Kuttange'. 

The producer went on to claim that Sandhu, who was crowned Miss Universe 2021, had to make herself available for the film's promotion under the agreement with her Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP. But she has refused to give dates for the movie's promotion, Singh said. Now, in a recent interaction with SpotboyE, Upasana Singh got candid about the troubles she had to face after casting Miss Universe - Harnaaz Sandhu for her upcoming production venture.

The Bollywood actress spoke to great lengths about her relationship with Sandhu and pointed out that she was deeply hurt and disappointed with the aspiring actress who continues to ignore her calls, emails and WhatsApp messages.

Despite sending the Indian diva all the content necessary for the promotion, Upasana shared she did not give her time and never mentioned in the press that she has done Punjabi film ‘Bai ji Kuttange’.” 

Upasna also added that in a career spanning over 2 decades, she had never seen a court and because of Harnaaz Sandhu she has to visit one.
