Yesterday, Tik Tok star Faizal Siddiqui made headlines after a complaint was filed by Rekha Sharma, Chairperson National Commission of Women against him for promoting violence against women. It all started with the video where Faizal came across as someone who was seen promoting acid attack crime against women and was severely bashed not only by his fans but also acid attack survivors like Laxmi Agarwal. Seeing the severity of his careless video, Faizal later took to his Instagram account to apologise and clarify his intentions behind the video.
In his post, he wrote, "My intention was never to hurt anyone in any capacity. As a social media influencer, I realize my responsibility and apologize to anyone who was offended by the video @ncwindia". But it seems this also didn't work in favour of him. After official complaints and uproar, TikTok India suspended his account. Faizal had approximately 13.5 million followers who now can see nothing on his once-famous TikTok account. Faizal himself confirmed the news to SpotboyE.com exclusively and said, "Today my account got suspended and I am really very upset. However, I don't want to add anything more to it".
Last week famous YouTuber CarryMinati's video where he was seen slamming the TikTokers was deleted. YouTube said that they do not promote bullying hence deleted the video. The video had come in as a response to TikToker Amir Siddique's video who bashed YouTubers for making fun of their TikTok videos. The situation went out of control when CarryMinati accused another TikTok star Faisal Shaikh of threatening him in the video.
Coming back to Faizal's account being suspended since yesterday many known faces have bashed him on Twitter as well as many started the trend #banfaizalsiddiqui. Apart from this #BanTikTok has been going strong on social media for two days.
