YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT season 2 winner Elvish Yadav shot to fame after his stint on the Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show. However, after winning the show he constantly started to make the headlines for anger issues and picking up fights with other people and YouTubers. Amidst it all, he also found himself in trouble when he was arrested in the snake venom case. On Tuesday, he was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials to their Lucknow office for questioning in the money laundering case, which was related to the ongoing snake venom/rave party case.
Talking about his recent visit to the Lucknow office, a senior ED official stated that they weren’t satisfied with his replied and would more likely question him further after collecting more details about the snake charmers and others. The HT report adds that Yadav’s close associate and Haryana singer Rahul Yadav was also questioned by the ED at their Lucknow office on July 8 for multiple hours.
For those who don't know, the 26-year-old YouTuber came under fire after a case was registered against him under the provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The FIR was lodged against Elvish Yadav after he was arrested in the snake venom case. He was accused of supplying snake venom at his rave parties in Gurugram and Noida. Despite pleading innocent, the Noida police stated that they had evidence against him to initiate an investigation. He was released on bail after being in jail for 5 days. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner is currently under investigation for the same.
