The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle recently wrote an article in which she opened up about her experience going through a miscarriage this year. She penned an article titled ‘The Losses We Share’ for New York Times, in which she mentioned that she felt a sharp cramp in July this year as she changed her son Archie’s diaper. Now, a tabloid states that Kate Middleton ‘raced’ to Meghan Markle’s side and was overcome with emotion after reading Meghan’s story.
New Idea reported that Kate Middleton ‘called Meghan personally’ and offered her condolences. However, it later adds that Kate already knew about the miscarriage since Prince William was told about it a few months ago. A source told the tabloid that while William and Kate were shattered upon finding out, they didn’t reach out in order to ‘respect the Sussexes’ wish to keep it private.’ The report however stated now that it is public, Kate has reportedly talked with Prince William about the possibility of visiting Meghan and comfort her.
It further states that the event made them realize that family is the most important thing. However, Gossip Cop has debunked this report, as it first mentions that Kate ‘raced’ to Meghan’s side, and later mentioned that she reached out to her through a call.
Gossip Cop further questions that while Kate already knew about the miscarriage months ago, why did she reach out to Meghan now, months later. It also questioned how a phone call would have gone against the Sussexes’ wish to keep it private, further concluding that there’s no truth to this report.
