Indian cricket team's former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement from International cricket last evening. While Dhoni’s retirement means cricket fans won't get to watch him play in blue jersey for the Indian cricket team, but he will be definitely seen in the yellow jersey as he shall play for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2020 to be held in UAE after much delay. While internet platforms were pouring in with posts mentioning how his fans would miss the Indian captain from now on, cricketer Rohit Sharma bid him goodbye in a witty manner.
In his Instagram post, Rohit Sharma mentioned that MS Dhoni is one of the most influential men in the game of cricket who has left a massive impact in and around the arena of cricket. He also addressed him as a man with a vision and master who was well versed in how to build a team. He wrote in his caption, “One of the most influential men in the history of Indian cricket His impact in & around cricket was massive. He was a man with vision and a master in knowing how to build a team.”
Funnily adding further, he mentioned that while everyone shall miss him playing for the Indian cricket team, they will get to watch him play in IPL 2020. “Will surely miss him in blue but we have him in yellow.See you on 19th at the toss @mahi7781,” followed by thumbs up and teasing emoji, added Rohit in his Instagram post.
