Virat Kohli has been enjoying the position of the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team for years now. With his leadership skills, he has proved to be one of the finest in cricketing history. However, now, a complaint has been filed against him for holding two positions simultaneously. As reported by Times of India, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association life member Sanjeev Gupta has complained that Kohli is conflicted because he holds two positions - captain of the Indian team and director of a venture linked to a company that manages talent.

BCCI Ethics Officer DK Jain has confirmed the news that the complaint has been filed and that case will be examined. To New Indian Express, DK Jain said, "It has reached the BCCI office and I will examine the complaint before deciding whether to issue a notice (to the respondent, Kohli in this case). We receive many complaints. Not all of them are maintainable. I have to go through this one before deciding if action should be taken or not."

As per the same report, in his complaint, Gupta mentioned, "Virat Kohli is occupying two posts at a time in blatant violation to BCCI Rule 38(4) approved by the Supreme Court of India. As such, he must relinquish his one post at once."

Virat is said to be a designated partner along with two others in Cornerstone Venture Partners Llp. This venture is the sister concern of a company called Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment Private Limited that handles the account of many cricketers like  KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, Umesh Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav and more. Virat Kohli is yet to respond. (Also Read: Virat Kohli Tries Hardik Pandya’s Fly Push Ups; Adds His Own Twist With A Clap Making It More Intense)
