Bollywood actor and filmmaker Salman Khan’s fans are still reeling from the shock of two individuals open firing at his residence in Bandra on Sunday morning. It was on April 14, at 5 am, when two individuals now identified as Vikas Gupta (24) and Sagar Patel (22), fired five rounds of bullets at Khan’s house in Galaxy Apartment, Bandra. After the arrest of the accused, who are members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Maharashtra’s CM Eknath Shinde visited the actor on Tuesday.
Shinde assured Salman as well as his father, filmmaker Salim Khan, of full security. After their meeting, the CM also spoke to media persons after the firing incident. As reported by the Free Press Journal, he explained that he was committed to finishing Bishnoi, as he had drilled fear into the Hindi film industry by targeting the 58-year-old actor. The report states that Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in charge of the Home Department, will also be meeting with the family after he returns to Mumbai from his Lok Sabha election campaign.
