Popular K-pop band BTS has a massive following globally. In the last few years, they have gained immense popularity, and are undoubtedly one of the most well-known Korean Pop groups all across the world. Their hit song Dynamite is a huge rage among the fans aka ARMY, and the song recently created history by becoming the first song by a Korean Pop group to spend 30 weeks on Hot 100 Charts.

According to a report in Times Of India, BTS has become the first K-Pop group to spend 30 weeks on the Hot 100 charts with their song Dynamite. Apart from this, it is the second longest chart-topping song by Korean acts ever, and Gangnam Style by Psy has dominated the record for being on the list for 31 weeks. BTS’ Dynamite needs to remain on the chart for 1 more week to tie with Gangnam Style, and needs to stay on the list for 2 more weeks to break the record and bag the first spot.

As per a tweet by Billboard Charts, BTS’ Dynamite has tied with Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road by spending 16 weeks, that is, the second-most weeks spent at number 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The record is held by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Despacito, which was at Number 1 position for 17 weeks.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Guinness World Records tweeted that BTS made history with their win at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. “Just days after their YouTube Premiere title was confirmed, @bts_twthave once again made history! This time, at the @Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for the most Nickelodeon #KCA won by a music group!” read the tweet.
