Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami has been arrested by the Mumbai Police. According to a report in Zee News, he was arrested on Wednesday morning and it is being reported that he has been arrested in connection to an old abetment to suicide case registered in 2018. Arnab will reportedly be taken to Raigad for further questioning. As per reports, police officers entered Arnab’s home this morning and arrested him.
Republic TV has alleged that he was assaulted by the Mumbai Police and was forcefully taken away to Raigad. ANI reported Arnab Goswami saying that the police physically assaulted his mother-in-law and father-in-law, son and wife. The tweet by ANI read, “Arnab Goswami says that Mumbai Police physically assaulted his mother-in-law and father-in-law, son and wife.
