The movement gathered more steam after the Met Gala 2024, with netizens sharing their list of celebrities that they have blocked on different social media platforms for not talking about Israel’s increasing onslaught on Gaza. The boycott of celebrities, reportedly, aims at compelling prominent figures to talk about the conflict on their wide-reaching platforms and essentially urging for calls for a ceasefire.
